Fig. 5 – This detail of the Agas map depicts the location of the Guildhall between Aldermanbury, Ketton Street (now Cateaton Street), and Balyngs Hall (now Basinghall Street) from a bird’s-eye view. Credited to cartographer Ralph Agas, the original Agas of c 1561 map no longer exists, and this detail is of a later version made in 1633.
