Seal with arms of London
Dublin Core
Title
Seal with arms of London
Subject
Trade and taxation
Description
This fifteenth-century seal was found in the river Thames at low tide. It bears the arms of London which indicates where the cloth was examined. Unlike other seals we can see part of the band that would have connected this half of the seal to the hollow other half that was directly attached to the cloth.
